Tutoring services are available for most subjects. If you don't see what you need here, please ask your professor.

Business

Business-related coursework tutoring is available by appointment. Please contact Rita Debnam to schedule a tutoring session.

Chemistry

In person tutoring is available in Adirondack Hall, Room 203

12:30 to 2 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays

Computer Science

Tutoring is available in the Dearlove Computer Lab (room 207) for CIS125, CIS140, CIS143, CIS144 and CIS244.

Mathematics

Math Lab
The Math Lab is located in Scoville Library on our Queensbury campus. No appointment necessary for in-person tutoring; just come on in. Make an appointment using Starfish for remote tutoring during these times:
  • 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday
  • 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays
  • 6 to 9 p.m. on Sundays

Online tutoring

Free academic support from trained tutors is available online through STAR-NY. Work one-on-one online with a tutor during the evenings Sunday through Thursday. Consult the STAR-NY website for specific times and subjects.

Rob Faivre, professor of English and reading specialist, is available to help students at ÌÇÐÄvlog Saratoga and in Eisenhart Hall, Room 105, in Queensbury. Schedule an appointment through Starfish or by emailing faivrer@sunyacc.edu.

The CRW offers tutoring for English courses, as well as reading and writing assistance for students in any subject.
